A dog is said to be a man’s best friend and are great companions.



You can have great fun with your dog but to do that it is important that you train them well and it is important to train your dog so that they know what is right and wrong and not repeat the same mistakes again. Every dog owner wants their dog to be well trained and behaved who listens to their command and one who does not embarrass you in public. The key to dog behavior training is identifying the dog behavior problems and dealing with it accordingly.



Dog behavior problems may primarily be as a result of poor communication.

Aggression is another trait that most dogs carry and the reasons for this aggression can be genetic or learned where some dogs get this behavior from their surrounding environment. The first step for aggressive behavior dog training is to identify the reason for aggression and deal with him accordingly.



Sometimes, if the aggression gets out of hand, it is advised that you seek professional help depending on the severity of the situation. During dog behavior training, you need to be very patient if you want the desired results. It is important that you do not force your dog to do things that they not willing to at that point in the course of their training as it will have a negative impact on them. Treat your dog when he listens to your command so that he knows that particular behavior is right. No matter what training you providing your dog, always use the positive reinforcement dog training method which appreciates the dog for the right thing done and rewards him accordingly.

Using a negative technique might not be very helpful as it may lead to aggression in dogs and thus, should be avoided. To stop your dog from biting, stop playing all games that involve biting especially chasing games and yell each time your dog bites and discontinue playing for sometime so that your dog knows that biting will stop his play. Similarly, ensure that he listens to your basic commands like sitting, jumping and so on. Make sure you reward your dog each time they listen to your command. Train your dog to walk on a leash so that you can control him when you’ll are outside for a walk. By following these simple methods, you can have ample amount of fun with your dog.
