Dog Birthday Cake Recipes

One of the ways of expressing the love for your dog is by celebrating its birthday.



There are many ways of doing this; for starters you can bake him a cake. There are a number of fancy dog birthday treats and dog birthday cake recipes that you can use to prepare a sumptuous feast for your canine companion.

Some dog birthday cake recipes are:

  • Peanut Banana Cake: Some of the ingredients you will need for this delicious cake include; Half a cup of softened margarine, two cups of white flour, two cups of ripe mashed bananas, three eggs, 3 cups of water, 1 teaspoon baking soda, half cup chopped peanuts and 2 teaspoon cinnamon.



    Once you have all these ingredients ready you first need to beat the mashed bananas with butter until it becomes creamy in a big mixing bowl. After that add the water and eggs to it and beat all the ingredients once again till it is nice and smooth. Add the nuts to the mixture.



    Spread a little butter on the baking dish and sprinkle a little flour over it. Finally pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake it in the oven for 35 minutes at 180 Degrees Celsius. Remove it from the oven and cool it.
  • Bacon & Chicken delight: The ingredients you’ll need for this mouth watering cake are; three cups of flour, half a cup of softened margarine, one teaspoon of baking powder, half cup corn oil, two jars of strained baby food, six eggs, yogurt, three strips of fried and crisp bacon. You first need to beat the margarine in a big mixing bowl to make it soft, then add the eggs and corn oil to it and mix it well. Next add the strained chicken and shredded carrots to it and mix it once again. After that add the flour, margarine and baking soda and beat it up well. Take 2 round cake pans and flour them so they are not sticky and pour the batter into the two cake pans and bake it for 60 minutes at 325°F. Cool it off on wire racks. It should be served in a different way. Keep one layer and spread the yogurt over it. Place another layer on top of the yogurt and spread some more yogurts over the second layer. Put the yogurt on the sides of the cake as well and sprinkle the bits of bacon on top.
