Two examples of quick and easy homemade dog cookie recipes are:

  • The ingredients you will need are three cups of uncooked oatmeal, three cups whole wheat flour, five tablespoons of softened margarine, half cup of wheat germ, quarter cup of plain molasses one cup water and one cup milk. First you need to preheat the oven to 300°F/150C.



    Next grease a cookie sheet. First mix the flour and wheat germ in a big bowl and then drop all the other ingredients into the bowl and mix it well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Once it is cooled remove the dough and roll it out carefully. Cut it out in cookie shapes that you want and place them on the greased baking sheet so that they don’t stick. Now bake it in the preheated oven at 300°F.Once it is cool watch your dogs enjoy this treat.
  • Another quick dog cookie recipe can be prepared with the following ingredients - you will need 1 cup of no fat milk powder, one cup of whole wheat flour, half cup vegetable oil, and one beaten egg, half a cup of boiling water, two beef soup cubes and two tablespoons of brown sugar. Once you have the ingredients ready first boil the beef cubes till they completely dissolve in the water and allow it too cool. After that mix the flour, beaten egg, milk powder, oil, brown sugar and beef broth well and knead the dough for at least 1 minute. Then roll out the dough till it is at least quarter thick. Next cut in cookie shapes and place them on a greased cookie sheet so that they don’t stick. Bake it for 30 minutes at 300 degrees F.
