The Cesky Fousek is known to be a gun dog that is very versatile and that is characterised by its beard moustache and wire haired coat.



One of the unique characteristics of the Cesky Fousek dog breed is that the bitches of this breed and the dogs are quite different from each other in terms of size. Most Cesky Fousek breeders will also vouch for the fact that this breed of dogs is able to adapt very well and very quickly to any type of hunting as well as any type of terrain.  Cesky Fousek puppies are characterised by a chest that tends to form a lyre shape along with its shoulder blades.



The coat of the Cesky Fousek dog can be anywhere from chestnut to dark amber in color. Another unique characteristic of the Cesky Fousek breed is that the nose of the Cesky Fousek dog is open and has sensitive nostrils and is overall a dark black in color.



The upper lip of the Cesky Fousek dog tends to form a small overlap and the jaws of this dog breed are known to be muscular.

The Cesky Fousek dog breed requires moderate amount of exercise in the form of at least two short walks during the day as they tend to get nervous and destructive if they are left without any form of exercise for a long period of time. While grooming a Cesky Fousek dog , owners should pay special attention to the ears of the dog ensuring that they are cleaned often and also examine the paws of the dog especially after its has returned from a walk.
